We’ve all been in a relationship at some point in our lives. Maybe we’ve had one attempt at it, or maybe we’ve had 10, but in the long run, we’ve learned from each of them. So unlike the notion, we girls actually know what we DON’T want. We aren’t all that confused or scatter brained, we want to be treated well and these are just a few things.
So if you boys/men, need a tip or two, before you start a monumental relationship, then this is some base work for you…
1. Being extra possessive or showing proprietorship. We aren’t property!
2. Acting like you’re cool in front of your friends, when really you’re a mushball.
3. Cancelling on us for your friends.
4. Naming our imaginary future kids, when you don’t know if you’re going to spend New Years with us.
5. Calling us ‘bae’ or ‘babe’, when you called your ex-girlfriend the same damn thing.
6. Constantly monitoring what we do, where we go, who we meet. You’re a boyfriend, not a stalker!
7. When you stop talking about legit things and only talk about ‘us’.
8. You want to be included in every plan, even when it’s MY friend’s birthday!
9. And then complaining that our friends aren’t ‘good enough’.
10. We have to plan everything, right from where to eat dinner to where to take a trip over the weekend. Plan something, it’s not rocket science!
11. Making us jealous on purpose by flirting a little too much, with a girl who has a crush on you.
12. Lying to us. You may do it because you don’t want to hurt us, but the truth is better than a lie.
If you want some sane advice, here’s some: stop pretending to be someone else, because fell in love with YOU, not some version of a relationship-man.Â
