Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor Asks People To Not Buy Fake Sneakers, Buy Nike Air Force If Low On Budget

Do you ever look at some people complaining about their lives and immediately think, “Rich people problems”?

Imagine hearing someone complain about how they missed purchasing the latest iPhone that was on sale, or couldn’t go for a foreign vacation because of visa issues, or their date looked different from their pictures on the dating app while you are busy worrying about your salary getting credited on time so that you can pay rent.

Rich people problems – this is probably what people felt when they read Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor’s Instagram Story about counterfeit sneakers.

In case you didn’t know, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor is the son of Anil Kapoor and the brother of Sonam and Rhea Kapoor. Both Sonam and he have said certain things in the past that made them look as though they live in a completely different world. And this instance is no different.

Harsh took to Instagram to request people not to wear fake sneakers and if they are low on budget, they can buy other options like a Converse, Vans or “basic” Nike Air Force.

Bro, the “basic” Nike Air Force he’s talking about costs Rs 7,495 in India.

Here’s a look at his post:

This post of his was met with hilarious criticism online with people calling out the Kapoor siblings for being incredibly tone-deaf. Here’s a look at some responses:

There is nothing wrong with purchasing counterfeit products. There are many people who want to buy products from certain brands but don’t have enough disposable income to do so. Hence, they buy counterfeit products because it gives them almost the same look and feel for a much lower price. To judge people on the basis of this really just goes on to show how blind one is towards their own privilege.
