Harry Potter Turns 38 And Potterheads Raise Their Wands To Wish Him A Happy Birthday

Harry Potter has been a huge influence on the generation that grew up with the character. They learnt about friendship, sacrifice and confidence through J.K. Rowling’s books. And once they were old enough to go to the theatres, they got to experience and share that feeling all over again through the movies. So today is certainly a huge day for the fans because it’s Harry Potter’s birthday.

According to the fictional history of the Potterverse, July 31st is the day that Harry Potter was born to Lily and James Potter. Now that not only coincides with the birthday of the magician of words that is J.K. Rowling, but also a braveheart by the name of Neville Longbottom. That’s why fans from all over the world raised their wands to wish Potter and Longbottom a happy 38th and Rowling a beautiful 53rd.

What J.K. Rowling has done through the books and the movies is something that can’t be reciprocated in the next 100 years or so. She has united the world through the tale of Harry Potter and his friends and we can’t thank her enough for it. But what we can do is wish her and the boys who lived a very happy birthday and pass their stories to the next generation so that they can live on for years to come.
