Desis Shower Support On 23-YO Working In An Unpaid Internship & Worried About Career

The ways of the world and social media will have you believe that you need to have your entire life figured out in your early 20s. Many think that by 25, you need to be well settled, have a job with a decent salary, savings, a family, a house, etc. But we keep forgetting that different people have different journeys and no two paths are the same.

A 23-year-old guy recently took to Reddit to share how he is working in an unpaid internship, has no savings, and that his career is over. He thinks that it would take him 20 years to earn Rs 50,000 a month.

Just because everyone else around you seems to have their lives figured out doesn’t mean they have had a smooth journey. Every person has their own struggles, highs and lows. The only person you need to compete with is you.
