There is immense pressure on women to get married by the age of 25. It’s like they come with an expiry date and are told that after 25, there won’t be many men willing to get married to them, especially if it’s a case of an arranged marriage.
If you think about it, the bar being set at 25 for women is perfect for patriarchal setups because they would say things like, You’ve got your degree, you’ve worked for a few years, now it’s time to get married.
Speaking of which, a guy on Twitter took the liberty to claim that his “sisters”, women in general, should try to get married before turning 25 because after that, not many guys from well-to-do families will be willing to marry them. Apparently, there is no man who will be willing to consider a woman past 25.
Sisters should try getting married under 25.
Trust me once you get past this age, you stop getting proposals and worse you get rejected, unless you belong to a super rich family or you earn well
Other than that no Man will really be considering a girl past this age.

What’s worse is that he advised women to not let studies, profession, or feminism stand in the way of their marriage.
Don’t let your studies or profession be an obstruction to marriage.
Don’t let the feminists sh !t eat your brain. look around and see the reality

He went on to claim that women nowadays have this mentality to marry late, as though it is some achievement. Hence, he decided to become the spokesperson for all of society to advice women to get married early.
Not getting married because of X Y reasons and willfully delaying are two different thing yh ?
What you mentioned was the first one and what I'm trying to highlight is the second.

A lot of people, mostly women but also some men, decided to school the young man. While many shared stories from their own life where they met the love of their lives after 25 and even 30, others asked women to first prioritise their education, profession and financial stability before tying the knot.
Have a look at some of the reactions here:
I got married at 30 with the kindest & smartest man I’ve known in this lifetime. Neither of us were super rich, he is just a decent human being who was looking for a partner and not a maid or a Allah miya ki gaai. Pls stop telling women what they should do with their lives. https://t.co/aU4GOsHbKZ

I got more marriage proposals after turning 30. Turned them all down until I finally said yes at 36 to the sweetest, kindest guy. Wait for the right one or you’ll be miserable ladies. In the meantime, enjoy your own company. https://t.co/ye6eUnIGwN

Absolute BS.
Do not marry young. Study. Work. Earn enough to be able to support the lifestyle you want. Then think of marriage.
The world has changed & you do not know when you would need these skills.
Women just like men are getting married when they are older. 30/35/40 https://t.co/0TY6e2QVAc— Hana Mohsin Khan | هناء (@girlpilot_) April 20, 2023
My mom (18) got married to my dad (22) divorced 4 years later. She got remarried at 31 and is thankful she took her time to remarry even though everyone told her to rush the process https://t.co/VdGExGmRXB

Men who get rejected and who have no chances with women say this the most, most men prefer likeminded individuals for a partner, which is usually in their age bracket, these men are confident and want to marry a person not a commodity. Down here is a loser showing his insecurity https://t.co/NRZw7CuL33

I recently heard a woman telling her son, jawani Dekhi hi nahi, 21 mein shaadi kar diya, 22 mein maa ban gaye, ab direct budhe ho gaye. Let women be. You are past the marriage age only once you die https://t.co/b3YDByHb8R

or idk… get married at the age that you feel is appropriate for you (not underaged ofc). never rush to get married, you’ll end up making mistakes. be wise. choose a partner that best fit what you are looking for and take your time doing so. https://t.co/b0H0iHvtUd

Why do some men think it is their moral imperative to school women on when and when not they should get married and how they should live their lives in general?
