19-Year-Old Guy In Punjab Got His GF Raped To Avoid Marriage. What The Actual F*#K?

What is wrong with the world and especially the younger generation? The battalion of teens these days, with their actions, is making us question the future to come. It is scary and sad at the same time. Just this very week, the news of Californian teen live streaming her sister’s death shocked us. But back on the home front, we have an even more messed up incident.

A 19-year-old teenager from Talwan village (Jalandhar), Harpreet Singh Happy, allegedly got his girlfriend raped by his own friends. He did so to use it as an excuse to not marry her.

This is some seriously fucked up shit.

The student conspired with his two friends, identified as Ravi and Bindu, just so he could use that as an alibi to avoid marriage with the victim.

 

He tricked his girlfriend into meeting with his parents. The victim told the police that Harpreet and she — who were in the same class in college — had decided to get married after a long courtship. In a Hindustan Times report, she told the Police,

“On July 20, he called me and said he wanted to introduce me to his parents.”

 

He called her around 10.30 p.m. on the day of the incident and asked her to come out of her house so that he could take her to meet his parents. He asked her to get off near a local market and said she should wait there so that he could bring his parents there to meet her.

“After some time, Bindu and Ravi came there on a bike and said Harpreet had sent them, and that they would drop me to his house.”

The victim alleged that they took her to a room in a field instead, and raped her. Later, they took her to an abandoned haveli and raped her again .

Upon medical examination at a civil hospital, sexual assault was confirmed. Harjeet Singh, station house officer (SHO), said the alleged culprits would be arrested and Happy would be produced in local court.

Victim’s statement shall be recorded in the presence of a magistrate in order to make it admissible evidence in court.

This is downright bizarre and we are furious. People have made a gory crime like rape reduce to a such a casual one, and it is enraging. THIS needs to STOP.
