For instance, a UP bride called off her wedding after the groom’s friends forcefully dragged her to the dance floor.
Recently, in a shocking incident, a groom was stabbed to death by his friends because he didn’t provide them with liquor to enjoy his wedding celebrations, reports NDTV. The incident occurred in a village near Aligarh when the groom Bablu went to meet his friends soon after his wedding.
His friends, already in an inebriated state, demanded more alcohol from the 28-year-old. However, the victim refused to get more liquor because his friends were already drunk.This led to an argument resulting in one of his friends stabbing him in a fit of rage, reports the Indian Express.
The victim was immediately rushed to a hospital. However, he succumbed to his injuries. The main accused Ramkhiladi was arrested said Circle Officer Naresh Singh. He added that five other accused are absconding.
