In the past, Govinda has made some very bold claims which made a lot of people scratch their heads and take hilarious jibes at him. Remember how he once claimed that he was offered a lead role in James Cameron’s ‘Avatar’? When he was being ridiculed for his statement, he further went on to claim that he rejected ‘Slumdog Millionaire’!
And yet again, Govinda went on record to make another such claim. In case you didn’t notice, he has not been acting in films. Once a leading actor in the film business, Govinda is nowhere to be seen nowadays. However, Indian Express quoted him saying that he rejected projects worth Rs 100 crore last year.

“I don’t accept work easily. But the people who think I’m not getting work, I would like to tell them ‘Mujhpe kripa hai Bappa ki’. I have rejected projects worth Rs 100 crore last year,” he said.
He went on to explain that he didn’t want to do “random roles” as he was looking for the level of work he did in the past, probably lead roles in big-budget films.
“I was slapping myself in front of the mirror because I was not signing any projects. They were offering a lot of money but I didn’t want to do any random roles. I want something that I’ve done in the past. Something of that level,” he added.
I’m pretty sure ’90s kids would be thrilled if Govinda came back to the silver screen with a big hit!
