Move Over Nightwalkers, This GOT Fan Created A Huge Stark Sigil In The Snow And It’s Amazing!

For months now, we’ve been struggling through the Long Night. Season 7 of Game Of Thrones concluded in August of last year and we were left stranded like lost children. Last we saw, the Whitewalkers wrecked total havoc at the Wall. All we can do is wait with baited breath to know the fate of many including Tormund. Tormund! I want to see him reunited with Brienne of Tarth, just to have one more look at that toothy grin of his.

But, no matter how much we cry about it, season 8 isn’t premiering until next year. And even worse, it’s the last season! What will I do with my life after that?!

Moving to some snow clad mountain to make GOT art, is starting to look like a very good plan right now. Why? Ask snow artist Simon Beck.

According to the Daily Mail, Simon walked over 20 miles in the snow, taking over 64,800 steps to make an incredible tribute to the show.

The British artist spent a total of 13 hours to create an image of a Direwolf, the Stark House sigil, on the snow.

He achieved the feat two years back, in honour of the 7th season. The footage of his journey in Les Arcs resort in France has been uploaded online. In the video he says:

“Game of Thrones is returning, and that means winter is coming, so I am creating a giant dire wolf in the resort of Les Arcs.”

Here’s what his mindblowing work looks like:

But if you truly want to appreciate it, you need to watch the video of his painfully thorough process and the final reveal:

Woahhh… right? His work makes the Stark sigil recreated by the White Walkers seem not that impressive anymore, doesn’t it? They could maybe take a few lessons from him. Until we lay our eyes on those icey folk again, my dear GOT fellows, winter is coming.
