It’s that time of the year again! With Valentines being just around the corner, I swear on St. Valentine, my head might just explode finding my dearly beloved boyfriend the gift of the gifts. Hey, you can fight me as much as you want but the fact remains unchanged that:

Buying gifts for men is NOT easy!

And I have asked around; my peers–who happen to be men–think the same too. They said that buying stuff for other men was difficult. While buying gifts for women is particularly easy, it is the opposite for men.

Yes, there are the cliché gift choices for men we see and hear everywhere – ties, cufflinks, deodorant etc. But the fact remains that men are actually more complicated when it comes to gifts.

Don’t categorise me as frugal, I love presents (giving and receiving, both) but it is a daunting task to find the right gift for someone. And don’t even get me started on the expectations!

 

While I can still trade the deep waters and find a gift for my girlfriends; after a point, it is impossible to find present for men that they want/like.

Correct me if I’m wrong here, but the choices are of the size of a pea pod. I can’t count the number of times I have fought and struggled to find my boyfriend the mystical ‘right’ gift, only to see his dejected face!

 

But hear, hear!  TVF in association with Deloitte working as process advisors & validators has finally decided to help me and my likes in decoding ‘what men like’ in a gifting poll. Let’s hear it from the horse’s mouth, shall we?

After some digging, a research says that quality liquor is among the top desirable gifts for men. 

The Point is if women fancy the idea of red sparkling wine bottled and wrapped for occasions, why can’t men enjoy and pose with their exquisite scotch blend, as a present?

 

I don’t know about you, but I have finally found the right gift for every man I know. It’s time to broaden our horizons, accept liquor as a LEGIT gift and bid goodbye to kerchiefs and cufflinks!
