Sourav Ganguly Posted A Cryptic Tweet And Cricket Fans Are Busy Decoding It!

Team India’s second World Cup match was an absolute pleasure to watch. Shikhar Dhawan’s brilliant century and skipper Virat Kohli’s 82-run knock with some smashing sixes got the men in blue to a whopping total of 352. Team Australia was unable to chase this formidable total and lost the game by 36 runs.

Apart from the game itself, there was something else that had Desi cricket fans in a tizzy. And the source of all the confusion was this puzzling tweet by former cricketer and now commentator, Sourav ‘Dada’ Ganguly.

This head-scratcher had everyone asking this question.

So desi Twitter put their thinking caps on and decided to decode this cryptic tweet. The discussion threw up two main contenders for whom the jibe may be targeted – former English captain Michael Vaughan and fellow commentator Sanjay Manjrekar.

Some people were sure that Dada was talking about Vaughan because he predicted India’s loss.

While others believed it was aimed at Manjrekar who had earlier tweeted about how it feels to work with Dada.

Interestingly, some netizens put forth the idea that he was talking about two people with a single tweet and lauded him for his trolling game.

Since no name was mentioned, we can’t be sure who exactly Sourav Ganguly was referring to in his tweet but his trolling game sure is flawless. Which is probably why the post now has 21,000 likes and over 3,000 retweets.
