3 Friends Prove ‘Group Studies’ Work, Prepare For Exams Together & Become Sub-Inspectors

Joint-studies sirf bahaana hai doston ke saath mazey karne ke liye.

I have heard my mom say this line innumerable times when I was in school and wanted an evening of joint-studies with my friends. Even though there have been numerous studies that have proved that having a study-group helps people learn faster, makes learning fun, and stops them from procrastinating, desi moms think that group studies = badmaashi!

However, three friends from Rajasthan have proved otherwise. According to a report by Dainik Bhaskar, three guys living in Alwar who studied together to prepare for exams became sub-inspectors together, proving group-studies indeed help!

Ayan Yogi, Vikram Gurjar, and Zubair Khan applied for the sub-inspector examination together. Previously, Ayan had finished his BTech, Vikram worked as a police constable, and Zubair worked as a school teacher.

Instead of getting admitted to a formal coaching centre, the three decided to study together. If anybody came across a problem, the other would help him. Some days Vikram and Zubair would go to Ayan’s house, other days Ayan would go where the other two lived.

It was in 2018 that the three appeared for the exam. After passing the written test, they prepared for the physical test together too. In 2019, all 3 passed the physical test and in July this year, they went for the interview together and went on to crack it! They are now sub-inspectors of the Rajasthan Police.
