F.R.I.E.N.D.S is the one sunshine I truly live by.
The quirks of Phoebe Buffay, the awesome fusion of sensitive and strong in form of Rachel Green, the annoying yet funny squeals of Monica Geller, the wit of Chandler, the kissable hopeless face of Ross Geller, and oh my such dripping adorable dumbness of Joey Tribbiani; I am more than happy to have these fictional friends in my life.
After all, they never ever fail to fade my blues. And I am sure, so is the case with you.
F.R.I.E.N.D.S for us is our go-to sitcom series. Be it just another night-in or a strictly me-time after a day spent plodding in office, F.R.I.E.N.D.S is where our heart is.
Following listed are some of the most heartwarming and funny dialogue exchanges from the series that’ll drown you in nostalgia and make you watch the episodes right away.
1. The one in which Monica welcomed Rachel to the real world
Season 1
Episode 1:Â The One Where Monica Gets a Roommate
Monica: [to Rachel] Welcome to the real world. It sucks. You’re gonna love it.
2. The one in which they wanted to be sure if Chandler’s girlfriend is a girl
Season 2
Episode 24:Â The One with Barry and Mindy’s Wedding
Phoebe: We were just wondering if Chandler’s girlfriend is a girl.
Joey: Oh, well. Just ask her how long she’s gonna live. Women live longer than men.
Chandler: How do you not fall down more?
3. The one about Phoebe’s Karma
Season 3
Episode 25: The One at the Beach
Phoebe: Oh, I am having the best karma this week. First, I find this woman who knew my parents, and then my client with the fuzzy back gives me his beach house.
Ross: Yeah? What about, ah, that bike messenger you hit?
Phoebe: Oh, I wasn’t talking about his karma.
4. The one with Ross’s speech on garbage
Season 4
Episode 6:Â The One with the Dirty Girl
Joey: Her place was really that bad?
Ross: You know how you throw your jacket on a chair at the end of the day? Well, like that — only, instead of a chair, it’s a pile of garbage. And instead of a jacket, it’s a pile of garbage. And instead of the end of the day, it’s the end of time and garbage is all that has survived!
5. The one with Elaine
Season 4
Episode 7:Â The One Where Chandler Crosses the Line
Chandler: Look, I just think it’s time for you to settle down, you know? Make a choice, pick a lane!
Joey: Who’s Elaine?
6. The one with the deadly wedding
Season 5
Episode 1:Â The One After Ross Says RachelÂ
Joey:Â You know, I think that went well.
Chandler:Â It could’ve been worse; he could have shot her.
7. The one when Joey preferred laser eye surgery over hernia fix
Season 6
Episode 4:Â The One Where Joey Loses His Insurance
Phoebe: Hey, what’s going on?
Chandler: Well, Joey’s got a really bad hernia…but it’s nothing that a little laser eye surgery won’t fix!
8. The one where Phoebe became a little too curious about Mon and Chandler’s wedding money
Season 7
Episode 2:Â The One with Rachel’s Book
Rachel: What happened at dinner?
Monica: My parents spent the money for our wedding.
Phoebe: My…what did you order?
9. The one in which Chandler and Monica’s return from honeymoon pissed Phoebe and Joey
Season 8
Episode 4:Â The One with the Videotape
Phoebe: So, how was the honeymoon?
Monica: Oh, so much fun. But the best part is we met this incredible couple on the flight back.
Phoebe: That was the best part? [To Chandler] Good honeymooning, Tiger.
10. The one in which a nightmare of a sister arrives at Ross and Rachel’s door
Season 9
Episode 8:Â The One with Rachel’s Other Sister
Rachel and Ross: (Knock on the door) Who is it?
Amy: It’s your favorite sister!
Rachel and Ross: Jill?
Amy: Amy!
Rachel: Hide my rings!
11. The one in which Joey takes Mike’s case
Season 10
Episode 12:Â The One with Phoebe’s Wedding
Joey: I want you to take this seriously! Phoebe is very very important to me, ok? And I wanna make sure that you are gonna take care of her.
Mike: (gets up) Joe, I love Phoebe. She’s the single most important thing in my life. I’d die before I let anything happen to her.
Joey: (very satisfied and smiling) That’s what I wanted to hear! Because she’s family, ok, and now you’re gonna be family, and there is nothing more important in the whole world, than family.
So yeah, I am off to F.R.I.E.N.D.S now.
Kbai!
