Woah! There’s A Floating Gym In Paris Fuelled By Human Energy And It’s Totally Cutting-Edge

The mantra is quite simple: the more you gym, the more you sail.

You will be able to spot Paris Navigating Gym, a human powered gym boat, on the Seine river in Paris. It harnesses the energy generated while humans exercise on the boat.

Built by Italian architects Carlo Ratti Associati in association with Technogym, the 20 meters long boat can hold up to 45 people at the same time.

It is designed like a glass bubble and is equipped with bikes and cross trainers.

The energy produced by individuals is recorded and the data is known to the guest. The Navigating Gym sails across the river all day long, providing city’s panoramic view.
