Yeah, I know 1st January always starts with a ‘new year, new me’ motto. You were hitting the gym, eating healthy and doing everything to keep up the resolution. But the truth is, by around this time, all that has gone down the drain. Binge season is back with a bang!
But these fat to fit photographs are all the motivation you will need to get your ass back on that treadmill.
Meet, Jeremiah Peterson a 39-year-old from Montana who weighed about 127 kgs just six months ago, according to The Independent. He’s a father of three kids and revealed that it was on returning from a backpacking trip with them that he realised a change need to be made. He said,
“Instead of remembering all the good memories we had made on this trip all I can remember is this one thing that kept playing in my head over and over again. I found myself running out of breath and having to take breaks way before my 9, 7, and 6-year-old kids.”
This motivated him to embark on the fitness route. He ditched junk food and the nightly beer drinking habit, dedicating himself to the healthy cause.

4. When asked how he managed to lose all the weight, Peterson said, “The honest to God answer is I did the work!”

6. He lost about 37 kg and gained some killer muscles too!
7. According to Daily Mail, his descent into obesity started when he gave up exercising and so both his weight and frame expanded.
8. He promotes body positivity on his Instagram and even has shared pictures of his stretch marks calling them “reminders of a battle.”

10. He says, “Each day that we are not living to our fullest potential is a waste of the precious time that we are allotted.”
11. Jeremiah went from size 42 jeans down to size 33.

13. He went on a Keto diet which is a high fat, lean protein and carb-free diet apart from vegetables.
14. Peterson is almost unrecognisable in comparison to his before pictures.
