Recently, Tanushree Dutta has reminded Bollywood about the harassment she faced from Nana Patekar on the sets of ‘Horn Ok Pleassss’. However, the reaction to it has been mixed. While many celebs have supported her and backed her narrative, big stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan have responded lazily. Joining the list of people showing apathy towards the sensitive situation is Farah Khan.
While a vocal section of the industry is backing Tanushree Dutta and the rest is remaining silent, Farah Khan chose to post a photo with Nana Patekar, amidst other actresses.
And she even added a cheeky comment along with it:
“Taking the “not so private charter” flight to jaisalmer. Kriti Sanon A very excited Pooja Hegde, Rimple & Harpreet Narula n 4 1st time on insta Nana Patekar?( where is chunky panday ) aasif ahmed, adrian jacobs n 1 innocent bystander.”
Netizens were absolutely furious to see Farah Khan’s post, in light of the recent events, and slammed her in the comments section:
1. The timing is absolutely off.
2. Thankfully everyone isn’t like that.
3. There should be consequences.
4. People are fuming.
5. It’s quite disturbing.
6. As long as the discussion is on, nothing can be overlooked.
7. Her caption is just not done.
8. Everyone should know the power they hold.

10. It’s necessary to remind her about the graveness of the situation.

All this while, Nana Patekar has claimed that he’ll take legal action against Tanushree. Additionally, his lawyer has announced that they’ll be asking for an apology from the actress.

Bollywood has been known to be a male-dominated industry, be it on screen or off screen. That’s why, during times like this, people should stand behind other women or at least condemn the act if it has happened. And given how Farah Khan has been in the industry for such a long time, posting something like this is the last thing we expect her to do.
