Have you ever had the tomato soup served in the trains? Well if you have had it, here’s something which will make you re think…
The passengers travelling in Ernakulam-Kolkata Duronto Express on Sunday raised a complaint after a person saw the kitchen staff using toilet water to make tomato soup.
Yes! You heard that right. Imagine the tap water from the toilets in the railway coaches right on your meal table. Gross, isn’t it?
However, a written complaint was submitted to the station master at Kozhikode railway station after which the angry passengers forced the train to halt for almost 15 minutes in order to protest.
After which the station master assured the passengers to take an action against the incident. The train was travelling from Ernakulum to Mumbai.
The angry passengers immediately took the matter to twitter.

@sureshpprabhu servers need better training. Not to hide but avoid such crimes. The mgmt/caterers should support them with facilities (1/2)

@sureshpprabhu still there is no facility to stack food other than near toilet. Why was there not enough quantity of soup?

@sureshpprabhu @narendramodi overall, a huge oversight. That turned into a crisis. Health of passengers cannot be compromised #durontoExp
