Divorces are messy and painful for both parties involved. But especially more so for the kids who are caught in the middle. Witnessing their parents’ marriage falling apart can induce stress and cause emotional and psychological turmoil. At such a time, love, support and honest communication go a long way.
According to The Independent, Victoria Valle Remond recalled how she dealt with her parents’ divorce when she was 10 years old by finding a creative outlet for her complex emotions and creating a trailer for a film called “A Shattered Relationship”.

The video has an amalgamation of family photos from happier times juxtaposed with stock images, pull quotes, a riveting background score and end credits! The attention to detail in the trailer points to Victoria’s keen interest in films. It is no wonder that now she’s a film major.
People are all praise for how she wonderfully coped with such a difficult situation and are comparing it to the Oscar-nominated movie ‘Marriage Story’ starring Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson.
This is peak processing of emotions.

In case you’re wondering, Victoria did show the trailer to her mom at that time and the couple did get divorced, which makes the trailer both amazing and sad at the same time.
