Music is a universal language that brings the world together. And the ‘jugalbandi’ of a pet cockatiel with her grandpa is a beautiful example of that. While there are many songs out there with varied concepts, have you ever wondered what a song about the extinct dinosaurs would sound like?
Well, singer-songwriter Tom Rosenthal recently shared an adorable video of his younger daughter Fenn giving her first solo performance titled “Dinosaurs in love”. The melodious song, written by the three-year-old is her original creation with a little help from her dad, reports CNN.
Listen to the amazing song:
Fenn, my nearly 4 year old daughter, recorded her first ever solo song today. She came up with all the words herself and I helped her a little bit with the tune. It’s called ‘Dinosaurs in Love’. 🦕❤️🦕 pic.twitter.com/erCgG0sUvP

A regular occurrence at their house, Rosenthal often encourages both his daughters to compose their own melodies. In fact, the ‘Dinosaur’ song was crafted by the father-daughter duo in their home studio when they were composing music as always.
“We’re always making music in our house. My two daughters just walk in and we do a song about whatever they want. This particular time it was dinosaurs, so she just started making up lyrics, while I added in the piano music in the background and helped her out with the structure,” Rosenthal was quoted saying by the Evening Standard.
The song, that speaks about the dinosaur’s life and extinction, has garnered several views online. Have a look at how people felt about the beautiful song and its heartbreaking ending:
Was not ready for that ending. Actually 😪

This is a wonderful — and haunting— song. Fenn is a deep thinker. 🤔 She’s gonna do great things.

Wow! It has history, science, romance, and loss. Sounds like Grammy material to me!

Very Billie Eilish. The cadence, the pause then recapitulation, the range, the mood. Grammy material. Now make the video for us!

Rosenthal’s daughters have previously conjured songs about other animals too. This meaningful and deep song about dinosaurs surely has our hearts. Kudos to the talented toddler for such a creative composition.
