Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the most humble cricketer and there are a million stories to back this claim. Remember the time he ditched the luxury of his car to travel with his team on the train? He has awed us with his spectacular leadership qualities while leading India to win the world cup in 2011. Dhoni had lead India as the captain of 331 matches, now that is a huge number!
His amazing performances, his cool captain style, and a good heart have won him innumerable fans.
Recently, in the quarterfinals of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, Dhoni was greeted by an enthusiastic fan who had managed to slip himself in the middle of the ground while the match was in progress! The young man wanted an autograph and he got one.

After this curious yet sweet incident, the fan also touched Dhoni’s feet as a sign of reverence.
A similar incident had taken place earlier this year in Mumbai, where a fan rushed to field in the middle of the game to touch the cricketer’s feet. You can watch it here.
I am sure that the young man would cherish this thrilling moment all his life. After all, it is not every day that you break into an ongoing cricket match and get Dhoni’s autograph without being chided!
