Men can be victims of molestation, sexual harassment, and sexual violence too. But while there is enough awareness regarding women experiencing such crimes and what they should do when such incidents happen, the same awareness when it comes to sexual crimes against men is scanty. In most cases, sexual crimes against men are not handled as seriously as they are when women are the victims and are often trivialized.
For example, a woman was caught on camera molesting a rickshaw puller in Delhi, reported Times Now. In a video that’s gone viral, we see how the woman touches the rickshaw puller inappropriately while he seems to be standing completely frozen. The act was recorded by a person sitting in a car that was parked a bit away from them.

We were shocked to see how a majority of the comments on this video were by men wishing they were in this rickshaw puller’s place. This incident was made fun of and many claimed that the man was apparently “lucky” to have experienced this.
However, there were a bunch of people who slammed this incident and highlighted that what the man is experiencing can be molestation and he probably doesn’t even know what’s the right thing to do in a situation like this. Have a look at some of the responses here:
