Rage and anger might often end up making you do things that you regret the entire life. Recently, a Haryana man killed his grandmother over an argument for not attending his son’s party. In a similar case, a dad of 2-year-old son shot him in the face with a shotgun during a heated argument with his mom.
Daily Mail reports that the man identified as Michael Christopher Glance allegedly shot his son Ryker outside his Blackman Township home in Jackson County on April 16. After a heated argument with Ryker’s mom, she drove off and Glance chased her with a shotgun to kill her.
But he intentionally shot his son in the face while he was strapped in a car seat in the back of his mother’s car. He then tried to shoot his mon, Nicole McCarthy, as well but the gun malfunctioned and he couldn’t fire.
He was, however, soon held by the police.
Ryker’s profile was created on an online funding platform to raise funds for his treatment. It describes Ryker’s condition as critical stating, “As a result of his injuries, Ryker has had five surgeries in the past 24 hours to repair his face, hand, arm and lungs.”
“He had titanium placed in his jaw and surgeons have reconstructed his mouth, gums and nose. Ryker now has over 100 stitches in his face post-surgery and is still listed in critical care with a ventilator and feeding tube installed in his stomach. He has a long road of recovery ahead with more surgeries to come,” it read.
