A disturbing video has come to light that shows two men attacking vehicles on the street with a machete. Allegedly shot in the Pimple Nilakh area of Pimpri-Chinchwad, the clip shows Pratik Santosh Kharat and Chetan Jawar attacking a total of ten vehicles.
Cops have confirmed that the incident occurred at approximately 9 pm on July 3 near Takle Chowk by the riverside road in Pimple Nilakh. The two men were allegedly drunk and attacked vehicles while running on the streets with the hand-held weapon. The Punekar reports that while one of the accused attempted to stop the vehicles, the other was attacking them recklessly using the chopper.

While most of the people on two-wheelers escaped injury, some four-wheelers were damaged. This case caused the locals to panic. 23-year-old Jitendra Thakur reportedly hails from Jharkhand, but was cooking a meal in his shed, in the area at the time of the crime. Thakur was also attacked as the two men hit him with the machete on his head. On the basis of his complaint, the Sangvi police station filed an FIR against the accused.Â
Thankfully, both the accused have been arrested. The police further revealed that a case had been registered against the two men on the same day at Sangvi police station for attempted murder of a man for money.
