Being in the police force is not just about the uniform and catching criminals. It is so much more than that. It is upholding the law and prioritising duty above all else, even one’s own family. Our country’s cops have time and again proved that despite personal circumstances they will always put their work first and foremost. Be it directing traffic amidst heavy rainfall, alerting bikers and preventing dangerous fire accidents or even pooling in money to help foreign nationals.

It can be seen in the viral video how a crying child is determined to not let his father go to work. The police officer, on the other hand, seems to be trying to calm him down by saying that he’ll return home early. This tweet has been reposted almost 9,500 times and has 29,000 likes.

every office going dad faces this problem..but a police job is even more challenging and demanding. feels very sorry for the kid and dad.. All govts should consider holiday for police jobs.. atleast a weekly mandatory off.
