Even though Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt has shown people that weddings can happen in one’s home, in the presence of a handful of close friends and family, it doesn’t change the fact that the many rituals and customs performed during the ceremony of an Indian wedding can be exhausting and time-consuming.
And of course, not everyone has the patience and willpower to go through it all without sneaking in a power nap.
This bride is also like most of us women who love their sleep more than our husbands. Hence, no matter how many eyes were on her at her own wedding, she managed to take a quick break from the overwhelming wedding rituals and took a nap while sitting inside the mandap during her pheras.
In the viral video shared by Wedding World Page on Instagram, the bride can be seen sleeping for a couple of seconds while the groom, sitting next to her, performs his part of the wedding rituals before they could finally get up and take the pheras.
She dozed off momentarily but also got up after the much-needed nap, probably realizing, ‘Arey, abhi tak shadi hui nahi?’ 😂
 She wakes up, looks around, takes a deep breath, and joins in the ceremony. Watch the video here:
