Brazilian Woman Shares Realistic Versions Of ‘Perfect’ Celebrity Photos

How many times have we seen models with washboard abs, slim waists and flawless skin only to feel bad about our own imperfect bodies? More times than we can count, right? And an abundance of edited images on social media just exacerbates the problem. Professionally shot pictures of models and celebrities often pop up on our feeds and set unrealistic standards of beauty in our minds.

Renata Neia from Brazil felt the same way. More so after her second pregnancy which caused her to gain a lot of weight. Which is why she took to dieting and taking pictures of herself to document her weight-loss journey. But along the way, something incredible happened.

She hilariously recreated some realistic versions of ‘perfect’ photos and became Insta-famous with 22,500 followers joining her body-positive movement.

Her recreations resonate with people across the globe for showing what real women look like – no makeup, no artificial lights, no Photoshop. She frequently uses household items to highlight the fact that we can’t all buy expensive couture and that most of us have to do chores and have no time for photoshoots.

Take a look at 15 of her best recreations that are a 100% relatable.

Renata isn’t the only one poking fun at celebrity photos on Instagram though. A Russian blogger and an African student have been doing the same and the results are hilarious.
