Legendary actress Sridevi left the mortal world for her heavenly abode on the unfateful day of 24th February and honestly, nothing has been the same. Neither Bollywood nor the lives of million people she touched by just being her gracious self.
And that is exactly the reason why they queued up in front of her house and joined hands as she departed for her final journey, dolled like a bride in her favourite kanjeevaram sari. But amidst all the eulogies, there were cacophonies of malicious conjectures regarding her death and it upset everyone who has fond memories of the iconic diva.
While everyone one of those took time out to shut the slander the grieving family had maintained a dignified silence. And it was for the best…
For now, that everyone has bid their final goodbyes to Sri, they have taken to social media to express their sense of loss and grief. Even Sonam took to Insta and shared the touching note requesting people to respect the legacy of the soul gone too fast…
“Let us all who loved Sri, envelope her two little ones, her life, as she often called them, with as much or more love than we gave Sri so that they can live their lives ahead with a little less ache in their hearts.”
Not just that.
Even Boney Kapoor has taken to Twitter and penned an emotional and heartfelt tribute to his love, Sridevi and it is bound to make your eyes moist. Sharing the ‘inexplicable loss’ he wrote,
But he wasn’t only the loving husband while he put his thoughts into words. He was/is also the father of his two young daughters who have lost their mother too soon in life.
“My only concern at this time is to protect my daughters and find a way to move forward without Sri. She was our life, our strength and the reason we always smiled. We love her beyond measure. Rest in peace my love. Our lives will never be the same again.”
He even expressed his love and gratitude for Arjun and Anshula “who have been such pillars of strength for myself, Khushi and Janhvi.”
