Rhea Files Police Complaint, Says Sushant’s Sister Sent Him Fake Prescription On WhatsApp

The investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death is currently underway with the Narcotics Control Bureau questioning actress Rhea Chakraborty. According to NDTV, she has filed a complaint with Mumbai police against Sushant’s sister Priyanka Singh, Dr. Tarun Kumar of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, and others for prescribing anxiety medication electronically and depicting Sushant as an Out-Patient Department patient in Delhi while he was actually in Mumbai.

“Sushant died within five days after obtaining this unlawful prescription. It is imperative that actions of Priyanka Singh, Dr Tarun Kumar and others be investigated and that it be determined as to how they came to provide the deceased with such a bogus and unlawful prescription.”

According to Mumbai Mirror, leaked WhatsApp chat screenshots from June 8 between Sushant and his sister Priyanka Singh show that she suggested some medicines to the late actor and even sent him a picture of a prescription.

Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde said that the complaint for the “bogus medical prescription” was filed for offenses of Forgery, NDPS Act, and “misconduct under 3.7.1.4 of the Tele Medicine Practice Guidelines”, reports The Indian Express.

In the ongoing probe, Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty, Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda and his house staffer Dipesh Sawant have been detained by the NCB.
