Bengaluru Kids Set Up A Lemonade Stall Outside House As They Were Bored & Broke

When I was a child and it was playtime, my friends and I would often pretend to be characters from various walks of life. From pretending to be husband and wife, teacher and student and even a shopkeeper and customer kept our imaginations busy thinking about how it would be if we were like them. It was our way of coming up with new ideas when we got bored of our usual games.

Similarly, three kids from Indiranagar, Bengaluru, came up with an amazing plan to keep themselves busy as they were both bored and broke. A woman named Aayushi Kuchroo took to Twitter to share how the kids set up a lemonade stall outdoors and were selling various kinds of lemonades like brown sugar lemonade, white sugar lemonade, plain lemonade, and salty lemonade for just Rs 10 a glass.

What’s even better is that they slashed the original price of Rs 15 and wrote Rs 10 with crayons on paper – a classic way to attract customers!

“The highlight of my day was coming across these dumdums on the streets of Indiranagar who were selling lemon water because they were broke and bored. Best way and age to learn the art of selling. Love it,” Aayushi wrote in her tweet.

People online were left impressed by the kids and claimed that if they would have been nearby, then they would have bought a glass from them. While some loved the idea of the discounted rate, others shared instances of kids from other blocks doing similar things. Have a look:

We didn’t realise it back then, but childhood was definitely the best part of our lives! 🙂
