9 Delivery Unit Nurses Are Pregnant At The Same Time At This Hospital

Maine Medical Center in the US is all set for a baby boom bonanza it seems. Nine nurses at the labor and delivery unit of the hospital are expecting a baby at the same time.

In a Facebook post, the hospital recently announced the good news. They shared a picture of their eight pregnant nurses flaunting their baby bumps. The caption of the epic photo read, “How’s this for a baby boom? Nine of our nurses (eight of whom are in this photo) are expecting babies between April and July! Congratulations!”.

“I think it’s comforting knowing we’re all in this together,” one of the pregnant nurses, Giglio said.

According to a report in Maine Health, they all have also planned to stick around each other in the delivery room during their respective deliveries in a show of support.

In one of the pictures shared by the hospital, each of the nurses can be seen holding a coloured card emblazoned with their due dates. The army of babies is expected to arrive within a matter of months between April and July.

The post went viral in no time and has ever since received more than 1,000 likes and hundreds of comments from well-wishers. Some were also concerned about how will the hospital cope up with so many maternity leaves at the same time, to which they replied that ‘they have a plan’.

Some nurses are expecting for the very first time while others are set to welcome their second or even fourth child. The hospital with its entire labor and delivery unit is excited about the in-house baby boom.

We just can’t wait for the pictures of the newborns that would certainly take the internet by storm just like their mother nurses. We hope to see them soon!
