Anurag Kashyap Warns His Old Friend Kangana Is ‘Intoxicated By Success’ & Being ‘Used’

Following Sushant Singh’s unfortunate demise, actress Kangana Ranaut spoke her mind about it and also the doings of other celebrities in Bollywood, including calling Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhaskar “B grade actresses”, to which Taapsee responded. Now, Anurag Kashyap took to Twitter to post a long series of tweets to share his thoughts about Kangana.

He started off by sharing an old interview clip of the actress at the Mumbai airport which came out right after the release of her film ‘Manikarnika’ calling it ‘scary’. He mentioned that ‘she used to be a very good friend’ of his at one time who used to encourage him with his every film.

He also talked about how ‘the power of success can affect everyone equally, regardless of whether they’re an insider or outsider.’

He didn’t seem to hold back and further claimed that she ‘abuses her directors and edits out the roles of other actors.’ He further said that ‘her old directors who used to admire her, now shy away from working with her.’

He pointed out that ‘by not showing the mirror to her on her actions and behavior, one is, in fact, finishing her.’ He also questioned as to what she is doing and why is she ‘talking nonsense’. He added that since he adores her a lot, he ‘can’t tolerate this new Kangana.’

He concluded by tagging the official Twitter handle of Kangana’s team saying that ‘the rest is your wish. If you want to keep abusing me, go ahead’.

However, the actress’ team hit back at the director with their own tweets, calling him a “mini Mahesh Bhatt”. Here are the tweets:-

Such harsh Twitter exchanges involving different celebrities in Bollywood are indeed distressing.
