A lot of hearts (and TVs) broke when India lost the ICC Champions Trophy to Pakistan on that unfateful Sunday. And while we are still recuperating from that loss, another unfortunate news has struck field and cricket fans, all around India, have lost more than just heart.
As dismaying as it sounds, Anil Kumble has resigned as the Head Coach of the Indian Cricket team and his post, stating so, spoke volumes about his rift (which began as rumours) with the current Captain, Virat Kohli.
He took to Twitter and wrote,

“The Captain had reservations with my ‘style’. Though the BCCI attempted to resolve the misunderstandings between the Captain and me, it was apparent that the partnership was untenable.”
Needless to say, his comments gave rise to a whirlwind of reactions where Twitterati slammed Virat Kohli for his ‘arrogance’.
