Nasty Woman Allegedly Files Fake Rape Case Against Ex Because He Had A New Girlfriend

I think we can all agree that love is a beautiful thing. When you’re in love, the whole world seems like you’re wearing rose-coloured glasses and few things can beat that giddy feeling in your stomach when you see the person, with whom you want to spend the rest of your life.

However, love is also complicated and sometimes if you’re not compatible you might have to part ways. Unfortunately, not all break-ups are amicable and sometimes you will come across people who can go to great lengths to make your life a living hell, for ending the relationship.

Something similar happened to 19-year-old Connor Fitzgerald when he was accused of attempt to rape by his ex-girlfriend shortly after they broke up. Connor was arrested on 1 November 2017, after a woman told cops that he raped her on June 24 last year and also recorded it on his phone.

However, a recent slew of messages tells an entirely different story. The girl who claimed to be the victim sent a lot of gloating messages to her friend and told her that she will “ruin his life”. The girl also sent a few taunting messages to Connor saying she will see him in court.

The Sun got in touch with the girl who admitted that she sent the messages but only because she was angry he had a new girlfriend.

She also said that the charges being dropped against her ex-boyfriend had “caused her grief”. She added,

“I said I wanted to ‘ruin his life’ in anger because I couldn’t believe after being with me that he’d move on so quickly with someone else. Yes, I did send them but I didn’t realise they would be used as evidence to clear him.”

In addition to this, the now-exonerated Connor also revealed that the girl threatened both him and his girlfriend and said that she would kill them. He also alleged that she started messaging him things like ” What about our family”, but quickly moved on to “I’m going to get you nicked for this”.

Connor also lost his job as a BT Engineer due to the claim. Talking about his ordeal because of the case, he said,

“It’s been heart-breaking – It felt like I was guilty until proven innocent. My life has been ruined. I’m scared to even leave the house because everyone thinks I’m a rapist. I feel ashamed even though I’ve not done anything. It’s nasty.”

It was only last week that the charges against him were dropped owing to the messages that his brother found on his iCloud. Connor plans to sue the CPS and the police as he believes that since the police are not securing enough rape convictions, they are willing to proceed with flimsy claims.

If the man is telling the truth then the trivialisation of such a serious crime just because she couldn’t take a break-up is condemnable. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident and men in our country too, are victimised under false allegations. It is absolutely horrible for someone to try and extract revenge through such allegations when women are victimised by predators every day.
