True life partners are those who help each other grow, personally and professionally. By putting the other person first, they sometimes sacrifice their own happiness. But instead of gratefulness and love, some people receive deception and pain in return.
Husband-wife duo Alok and Jyoti Maurya from Uttar Pradesh suffered financially after their marriage. But Alok worked tirelessly day and night to make sure his wife could continue with her studies. He also admitted her into a good coaching centre in Prayagraj.
With her hard work, Jyoti became a Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in 2016. However, after experiencing success, she ended up cheating on her husband with another officer, reported Odisha TV.
When Alok got to know about his wife’s affair, he tried everything he could to save their marriage. But Jyoti allegedly filed a false dowry case against him, leading to his arrest. He also ended up losing his job because of this.
He is currently out on bail but has been receiving threats via calls to divorce his wife amicably. Once having helped his wife succeed professionally, Alok now finds himself jobless, single and devastated.
Jyoti and Alok got married back in 2013. After their marriage, Jyoti expressed her desire to study further and Alok was very happy to know that she wanted to make something out of her life. In 2015, she finally got a job and even gave birth to twins. In 2020, Jyoti, now an SDM, meets Gaziabad’s District Commandant Home Guard and they soon became “very friendly” with each other.
Alok got to know about their relationship when one day, he checked Jyoti’s chats on Facebook. Alok alleged that when he confronted Jyoti, she began threatening him. She even filed a case with the police accusing her husband of demanding a dowry of 50 lakhs, 10 years after their marriage.
