I post this today. My best gift of 2019 , hell actually my whole life as ive known it because the people who know me know very well what this meant. I told him i pirated his movies just to catch up at one point. Id neva do that now but we all done bad things . We spoke a little about my work and then for some reason i remembered my two mamu’s and my mum being great fans of him as well.. so, i told him they were the ones who got me hooked on to you. My first fairytale i remember as a child is a story about an italian family in newyork. And years later i asked my mom why she did that. Who tells a kid about the godfather and she said – “i thought it was a nice story but i dont think i told it right. Go Watch it “. Anyway.. this was long overdue. And it happened at a private screening for the irishman with Mr De niro, Martin scorsese, harvy kietel, anna paquin and Al ofcourse. The movie? Flawless and if i can say the perfect film. Now u must understand an actor can never say that but it is. Its long tho.

And, some time back the skillful man announced his second major Hollywood film ‘Death on the Nile’ directed by Kenneth Branagh:

The actor, who shot for three months for the movie, said that it was a wonderful addition to his understanding of the craft.

“Honestly, it’s a nascent part of my career in the West so I’m only learning with each passing day and project. And being on sets of Death on the Nile too was a progressive growing experience for me.” Ali was quoted saying by News18.

He said that when you shoot with the masters of the craft you land up learning a lot of things.

“In this day and age, actors are no longer transitioning but merely expanding their skill sets. I aspire to work in different countries, platforms, regardless of their languages. I have found people who push me to seek parts and not projects and that’s my blueprint going forward,” he added.

The movie also stars Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Emma Mackey, and Annette Bening amongst others.

“They were all extremely kind, professional and warm. The entire bunch is a wonderful group of people who bring a certain energy every time they walk onto the sets. So I hope I managed to learn from them and I hope I have brought my best to the table. We were a diverse bunch who were bringing some very valuable contributions that it almost felt like the Olympics. It was the amalgamation of these unique energies that made it so interesting,” said the Indian actor.

The actor has been part of several Bollywood movies. He also has another international project in his kitty after ‘Death on the Nile’. We wish the actor all the success in his future endeavors.
