Rajkumar Hirani Just Confirmed A Sequel To ‘3 Idiots’ & All Izz Well

Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots, which released in the year 2009, is one film which is and will be etched in the memory of film lovers for a lifetime. No matter how much you deny (we know you won’t, but still) you got to agree that it made you walk out of the theatre with that content smile on your face and the hint of tears in your eye. And probably humming “Behti Hawa Sa Tha Woh”.

While the film made you laugh your hearts out on the famous ‘Balatkar’ speech by Chatur Ramalingam, we bet that the incredible bond of friendship between Rancho, Raju, and Farhan made you go back home and text your long lost best friends.

And every time the film shows up on the TV, we leave our work aside and set ourselves for the wonderful near-3 hour journey portrayed by Raju Hirani and co.

But but but…We are not here for a movie review. Instead, we are here to give you the news which will make your day, because it has already made ours.

According to Mid Day, Rajkumar Hirani has already started writing the script for a sequel to the evergreen film and we cannot keep calm!

“I definitely want to make a sequel to 3 Idiots. In fact, Abhijat [Joshi, writer] and I started writing something a few days ago. But it’s still in the initial stage and we will take a fair amount of time to develop the script.”

However, Rajkumar Hirani is now busy with the promotions of ‘Sanju’ and will start working on ‘Munna Bhai 3’ after that. It is believed that the script for ‘Munna Bhai 3’ is ready. Another reason to rejoice!

The cast hasn’t been confirmed yet and we are not sure if the trio of Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi, and Madhavan, which did wonders last time, will be retained.

But nonetheless, the fact that the march towards a second part has already begun, is enough to make us jump in joy. Hereby we pray to God (and of course, Rajkumar Hirani) to make this happen. Please?
