Ahmedabad: 17-YO School Girl Thrashes Man Who Molested Her With Uniform Belt, Sister Joins Her

Last week in Ahmedabad, a 17-year-old girl was going to school on her bicycle. On the way, she was stopped by a man named Vijay Sarkate at 6.45 AM. He forcibly held her hand and offered her a gift. When the girl refused, he put the gift inside her bag, forcibly kissed her and molested her. The girl returned home and informed her mother about the incident. She was filled with anger. Her mother encouraged her to teach the man a lesson. So the 17-year-old and her 19-year-old elder sister hatched a plan.

According to Times Now, the next day when the minor was going to school, she was again stopped by Vijay who forcibly held her hand. The elder sister had been waiting nearby and quickly came to the spot where the incident was taking place. The two raised an alarm and started beating up the stalker. The younger sister, who was in school uniform, used her belt to beat him. The incident occurred at Bhulabhai Park bus stand.

This caught the attention of passersby who readily joined the two sisters and confronted the stalker. The girls’ parents, on the other hand, immediately called the police at Kagdapith station and lodged a complaint. The molester, Vijay, was arrested and slammed with charges of molestation and stalking, in addition to the charges that fall under the POSCO Act.

Vijay Sarkate is 19 years old, unemployed and not associated with any educational institution. A video of the incident had gone viral on social media. Have a look:

Kudos to the girls for showing immense courage!
