Ahmedabad: Pharma Employee Runs A Roadside Pasta Stall On Weekends To Follow Her Passion

There are only a handful of lucky people in this world who get to follow their passion. Others are required to take up a regular 9-5 job or contractual jobs due to financial and family obligations. There are so many who were forced to leave their talents and interests behind to pursue a field that promised them security. However, there are also some individuals who, despite having to work a corporate or government job, are choosing to chase after their passions despite all the challenges.

Dhruvi Panchal from Ahmedabad is one of them. She works as a pharmaceuticals employee from Monday to Friday but on Saturdays and Sundays, she sets up a roadside pasta stall and cooks affordable delicacies for foodies.

She is a BPharm graduate and works at Zydus Hospital.

But after all, she is a Gujarati! There is an entrepreneurial streak in all Gujaratis and they end up setting up a business of their own, no matter how small or big it is. So every Saturday and Sunday, Dhruvi goes to Cept Khau Gali and from 6.30 PM to 11 PM, she sells various kinds of pasta. This keeps her passion for cooking alive and gives her immense satisfaction in feeding people.

The name of her humble stall is Mac & Cheese.

Here’s a look at a video showing Dhruvi in action:
