Geeta Phogat, India’s first female wrestler to compete at the Olympic Games got married to fellow wrestler Pawan Kumar this Sunday. The wedding took place at Balali, a village on the highway to Bhiwani. On the event day, the village looked even busier than an average wedding day since this time, Aamir Khan was to be one of the attendees.
The village had never had an A-list Bollywood celebrity among their midst before so everyone was bubbling with excitement for Aamir Khan’s arrival at Geeta’s wedding.
“He is the biggest person to visit our small village.”
The actor will be playing the role of Geeta Phogat’s father in his upcoming film, Dangal.
