National Capital Delhi is not just famous for its Sarojini Nagar market, mayo waley momo, and crater-like potholes during monsoons. If you have been to the city you would know how brand-conscious many Delhiites are. They mark their calendars and even take half-days from work when Zara and H&M go on sale. I kid you not!
But since the city has various markets that offer dupes of several branded products at dirt cheap prices, it’s hard to believe if something is OG or a sasti copy.
This guy might also have thought his partner bought a Zara T-shirt from a Sarojini-like market. But he made the grave mistake of telling it to her. This obviously made the woman furious to the extent of physically abusing him in broad daylight inside a running metro.
Now, a video of the couple fighting over the price of the Zara tee has gone viral. From what’s audible in the video, the woman is seen clarifying that the tee she bought was from Zara and cost Rs 1000. “I got it for ₹1,000 from Zara,” she says. But the man wasn’t convinced, “Doesn’t look worth more than ₹ 150.”
This is where the woman lost it and started slapping the guy. Their verbal fight got aggressive with the woman saying, “Mummy ko bolungi main. Tere jaisa ladka kiskiko na mile.” After entertaining the people on board the train, the couple got down at a station.

Oh my! And how bad is it that the most I clearly understood out of it all is when she called him a certain insult starting with “m”. 🤭😂 I’m going to have to listen again more intently.
