Women have been struggling for it for ages and yet, there are so many girls for whom going to school and becoming something other than a wife, housewife and a mother remains just a distant dream.
Ranju Kumari from Muzaffarpur, Bihar has set an example in the fight of education for women by appearing in her B Ed examination just an hour and a half after delivering her baby boy.
She went into labor just before her exam was supposed to start. Even when the doctors were unwilling to let her go, she took an ambulance to the examination hall and reached after 30 minutes the paper had started.
The center’s superintendent Mamta Rani was impressed and even allowed Ranju to write her paper in the ambulance under supervision.
“We salute her dedication for studies. She has proved women’s awareness towards studies has increased,” Rani said.
Ranju wants to be better educated so that she can give her children a good life.
Dedication is the key to a good life.
