This Answer SHUT A Moronic Question, Why Will Zaheer Marry ‘Unpopular’ Sagrika Ghatge!

When celebrities marry, there is always conjecture, there are always opinions about who he/she should or shouldn’t marry. But guess what, it’s their freaking life! They might be public figures, but who they choose to spend their rest of the lives with, is not something that depends on popular opinion.

Why such sudden rage, you ask? Well, I came across this question on Quora that asked, ‘Why did Zaheer Khan marry unpopular “Chak De India” star Sagarika Ghatge?‘ and I did not quite understand how success of a marriage can be weighed in terms of popularity. Does being a public figure come with such scrutiny that we can’t see above fame, money and stature? 

I needed respite from such useless thoughts, and that’s when I saw this answer by Kamna Smijith! This ‘gentlemanly’ question needed to be addressed and Kamna preached him a lesson he won’t forget all his life. Here’s how –

1. The God of cricket, Sachin Tendulkar got married to ‘unpopular’ Anjali Tendulkar beacuse they fell in love with each other.

 

2. The Bengal Tiger, Sourav Ganguly got married to ‘unpopular’ Dona Roy because they fell in love with each other.

It seems that ‘love’ is the main culprit here. The cupid has driven these ‘extremely popular’ cricketers crazy enough to get married to their ‘unpopular’ yet beloved women just because they were head over heels in love with each other.

“If only these guys have thought to go after popularity rather than love, the history of Indian Cricket would not have been painted in the red color of love.”

 

I guess the bug of love bites everyone equally regardless of their popularity and the same bug has bitten Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge.

P.S. : 1. I hope Virat Kohli also gets married to Anushka Sharma one day because they also seems to be deeply in love. (Though Anushka Sharma is a little popular.)

 

Seriously, when there is LOVE nothing else should matter. I don’t know what measuring tool other people use to weigh a marriage, but we can clearly see love conquering it all!

P.S. – Virat and Anushka, it’s time to get on the list, permanently.
