Wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt’s Reply To All Salman Fans Who Trolled Him For His Rio Loss Is EPIC!

In 2012 London Olympics India gave its best performance and brought home 6 medals.

Yogeshwar Dutt was one of them, winning the bronze medal in the 60kg wrestling event. He was awarded the Khel Ratna Award and the Padma Shri. He has also been an Asian champion and has won the gold medal in Commonwealth games.

Writing all this is necessary because it seems like people have forgotten what he has already achieved in wrestling and also for our country.

After he lost in the opening round in the Rio Olympics, Salman Khan fans trolled him mercilessly.

It was surprising to see so much sudden hate on twitter from Indians because Olympic athletes are usually respected across the board. But what else can you expect from Salman fans?

Yogeshwar Dutt had spoken out against the decision of making Salman Khan the brand ambassador of the Indian Olympic team.

But it certainly does not justify such a response.

In his humble way, he apologised to us for not bringing a medal home. And kept saying that he will do well in the future for the country.

It is a pity that an Olympian has to apologise to the country for not bringing a medal home. Too many factors come into play when an athlete competes. Winning and losing are all a part of sport.

Remember, that this is the same athlete who had a bad knee injury and still went ahead and won us a medal in the 2006 Asian Games. He was injured this time too, and still competed.

His dedication to the sport and our country is unquestionable.

Let’s give our heroes proper respect they deserve. Yogeshwar Dutt certainly deserves it.
