I have always had mixed feelings about Mumbai. I totally love it for its cosmopolitan culture and lively feel. Yet two things scare the bejesus out of me whenever I think of moving there. One is the humidity that makes my hair go crazy and the other is the ordeal of traveling in a local train.
The idea of being able to enter and get down with the presence of so many people (hopefully without losing a limb) freaks me out. But that’s just the scared small town girl in me who gets nervous around the crowd. Many people solely depend on local trains for transportation and they are able to find numerous joy in it.
This video by wow tube captures one such beautiful incident in a local train, where women leave behind their worries for a while and enjoy few minutes of happiness. 🙂
