A Woman Traces Her Sperm Donor, Falls In Love And Marries Him. What A Cute Story!

Amina Hart, like all of us, was tired waiting for the right man and the perfect marriage. She’d faced her share of unhappy endings, she’d also buried her kids when they succumbed to their illness at a young age.

She wanted to be a mother again and decided to go with IVF.

42 year old Amina was presented with 3 options from which she had to choose ‘the one’ sperm donor. She choose the donor who’d had 4 healthy kids and was ‘easy going’, according to his application.

 

Nine months later, she had a gorgeous daughter, Leila.

Amina always wanted Leila to have the chance to meet her father, something that Amina didn’t have. Amina, raised by a strong independent single mother, went in search for her father, only to discover he had passed away. She didn’t want to see this happen to Leila, so she took the next move.

 

Amina contacted the father, Scott Andersen,  through the agency and send him a Thank You email along with lots of pictures of their healthy daughter.

Scott, a cattle farmer in Australia, couldn’t wait to meet his daughter. She resembled his other kids so strongly that he had to see her. After a 6 month long emailing spree, Amina received an invitation to visit him in Phillip Island, for her little family.

 

Finally, the three met face to face just before Leila’s first birthday

Scott and Leila bounded instantly. After only a short time, Scott insisted that Leila called him ‘Dad’. That’s the time when the pieces started aligning for Amina and Scott. They started to meet up once every week.

 

But before they knew it, Scott and Amina, fell in love

On one occasion, they went into a pub for a beer and she told him: “I think you should kiss me.” Scott was scared at first because, “I thought she was totally out of my league”. But eventually it all worked out.

 

Scott proposed to Amina, under the pretense of going out to buy milk, but returned with a ring instead.

The pair got married in a ceremony held at Sorrento, Victoria. It was just as beautiful as their love story. Amina, even penned it down in her book, ‘How I Met Your Father’. And hopefully, a movie is also on it’s way.

And then Mama bear, Papa bear and Baby bear lived happily ever after.
