A doggo isn’t just a pet for their dog parents but a family. And only a person who has brought up a furball understands the pain of losing it. Even a mild cough and cold or injuries break our hearts as we can’t see them suffering. And, one can just not imagine how devastating it is if someone steals away the dog.
Somebody stole away Emilie Talermo’s Australian Shepherd from outside a grocery store in San Fransico last weekend, reports News 18. And, she has been leaving no stone unturned to find her dog, Jackson as soon as possible.
Accordingly, she has set up a website called ‘www.bringjacksonhome.com’ where she’s offering a $7,000 (Rs. 4.9 lakh) reward for anyone who finds her doggo without ‘any questions asked’. She has also opened a Tinder account for her dog, reports NY Post.
“I am just one person and I really need help getting the word out there,” Talermo said. The CCTV footage from outside the store shows a hooded man approaching the bench where Jackson was tied.
With the help of her friends, Talermo has distributed thousands of flyers with a picture of her 5-year-old dog with a white, black, and gray fur and bright blue eyes.
If this wasn’t enough, the woman has also hired a plane that will have her search website’s name and other details on a banner attached to it. The plane was earlier scheduled to circle around the cities of San Francisco and Oakland on Thursday for two hours but due to bad weather, they took flight on Friday.
“He’s always with me. It’s very real love. I just need help finding him,” she said. In order to fund her search program, the woman also launched GoFundMe and she has already managed to raise around Rs. 5 lakh for the same. She plans to donate the remaining amount to Rocket Dog Rescue.
Talermo shared that she got Jackson in New York following which they moved to Los Angeles and then to San Francisco. “Those people I’ve met throughout the years know my love for this dog. I’m just blown away by everyone’s support,” she said.
