Woman Burns Her Rapist To Death As She Grabs Him After He Sets Her Ablaze In Bengal

In Bengal, a valorous woman took the ultimate revenge from her rapist instantly after he committed the crime. The woman claimed that the 35-year-old man used to disturb and trouble her every now and then. He broke into her house on Monday evening when she was all alone.

The woman, who is a widow claimed that the accused raped her and set her afire. She then immediately grabbed the man tightly while still ablaze, she said, reported TOI.

As soon as the nearby residents noticed smoke fuming out from her house, they rushed to check and found both of them on fire. A jar of kerosene was also found in the room, police said.

Both were soon rushed to a local hospital from where they were referred to the Malda Medical College and Hospital. The man succumbed to his burns on Tuesday while the woman, who sustained burn injuries in her face and hands is undergoing treatment, officials said.

The woman is a resident of Subhas Colony under Manikchak police station limits. She has three daughters. Police are investigating the matter to find out why the accused who lives 35 km away from the Subhas Colony visited the place. Locals have, however, said the man used to frequently visit the woman’s house.

The brave act of valor by the woman is surely scary yet praiseworthy! In another such incident, a woman from Thane was arrested for chopping off her stalker’s genitals. While some hailed the woman for her courage, others found it incorrect to take law in one’s own hands. But killing your own rapist and almost your murderer in an act of self-defense, doesn’t seem any wrong, does it?
