Nagpur: 28-YO Woman Arrested For Killing Her 65-YO Husband Who Had 4 Other Wives & Kids

Hell hath no fury as a woman scorned!

If you think this saying is only apt in movies and novels, then you’re incorrect my friend. Couples have time and again proved how dangerous they can be when cheated upon by their partners.

Earlier, a husband glued his wife’s genitals shut after suspecting she’s cheating on him with 4 men. Soon after, a wife puts posters everywhere letting people know about her husband’s infidelity.

Well, this woman from Nagpur is a 28-year-old identified as Swati Laxman Malik and she allegedly took her 65-year-old husband’s life as she was his 5th wife, reported India Today.

According to the local cops, the deceased Laxman Ramlal Malik of Jaripatka, who retired as a sanitation worker from a hospital, disowned his younger son from Swati and left their home. Days later, Swati went to meet Laxman at his friend’s place where he was temporarily staying. She then tied his hands with a chair and got intimate with him. Soon after, she allegedly slit his throat with a knife.

After the cops were tipped off about the incident, they got into action and found the cab driver who had dropped Swati at Laxman’s friend’s place. “After learning from a cab driver that he had dropped Swati outside Laxman’s place on Monday, police grilled her and she confessed to the crime,” an officer reportedly said adding that the couple used to fight over money.

The cops also informed that Laxman didn’t have a cordial relationship with any of his five wives or his children. Swati was put behind bars and charged under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.

Although it’s unclear whether Swati was aware of Laxman’s other wives or not before getting into matrimony with him, her taking the law on her hands and committing such a brutal crime was uncalled for. What do you think of this incident?
