Since yesterday, pictures of industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son Anant Ambani and his fiancée Radhika Merchant have been all over social media after the childhood sweethearts got engaged at Antilia in Mumbai.

While we all know who Anant Ambani is, there’s only little that’s known about the woman of the hour, Radhika. For those unversed, she is the elder daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant and his wife Shaila.
Her dad is the CEO of Encore Healthcare from Kutch, Gujarat, and one of the richest billionaires in India. However, the 28-year-old woman has been living in Mumbai for several years.

According to Business Standards, the Ambani bahu-to-be also holds a chair on the pharmaceutical company’s board of directors along with her parents. Radhika completed her preliminary education at Mumbai’s Cathedral and John Connon School and École Mondiale World School. She also has an International Baccalaureate Diploma from BD Somani International School.
Soon after, she flew to New York to get a bachelor’s degree in politics and economics from New York University. After returning to India, Radhika interned with consultant firms like India First Organization and Desai & Diwanji.
The bride-to-be had also worked with Mumbai-based real estate company Isprava as a junior sales manager. She also invested in her family business.

An avid animal lover, Radhika is also a trained Indian classical dancer. She trained in Bharatnatyam for eight years and learned the art form from Guru Bhavana Thakar at Shree Nibha Arts, reported Economic Times.
Back in 2022, the Ambani family organized an Arangetram ceremony for their daughter-in-law to be at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai. It’s a ceremony wherein the students of Indian classical dance perform on stage for the first time.
After knowing each other for years, their marriage was made official with a Roka ceremony held at the Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara, Rajasthan.
She has also been spotted at several important events of the Ambani family including the weddings of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal, and Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta.
She is certainly a beauty with brains and a woman with many talents.
