Villages In Philippines Covered In Blankets Of Ash After Volcano Taal Erupts, See Pics

After Amazon and Australia’s devastating wildfire, mankind is facing the fury of mother nature once again, this time it’s Philippines. The Philippines Institute of Volcanology and Seismology warned about a ‘hazardous eruption’ of Taal volcano in the Batangas region, in the south of Manila on Monday.

Ever since Taal has been spewing lava and ashes in the clouds to height as high as 500 meters, reports Metro. The areas around Taal felt tremors of more than 200 earthquakes. Around 30,000 people have been relocated following the devastating volcanic eruption.

Horrifying pictures of regions in and around Taal including the ash-covered villages of Talisay, Laurel, and Boso-Boso have been doing rounds on social media, reports Gulf News. Some pictures show the residents cleaning up their volcanic ash blanketed backyard while some other show vehicles loaded with ash and streets covered with fallen trees.
